 Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast (born 7 May 1998), is an American YouTube star and businessman. [6] He has been acknowledged as the pioneer of a new genre of YouTube videos that revolve around expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded videos to YouTube at 13 under the pseudonym "MrBeast6000". His first content consisted of Let's Plays and videos in which he estimated the wealth of other YouTubers. He gained fame in the year 2017 after his "Counting To 100,000" video garnered tens to thousands of views in a matter of days. Once his channel took off, Donaldson hired several of his childhood friends to run the growing brand. MrBeast is Donaldson's main YouTube channel. The channel surpassed 100 million users on July 28, 2022.
